Javier et Mila, deux chirurgiens de renom follement amoureux l'un de l'autre, sont animés d'une même passion pour leur métier.
<br />Leur histoire est hors norme, loin des conventions et de la banalité
du quotidien. Mais la grossesse inattendue de Mila met l'équilibre de
leur relation en danger. Javier s'adonne alors à l'alcool et finit par
être suspendu de l’hôpital.
